During the Spring of 2016, ArtPrize piloted an extension of Cesar E. Chavez Elementary's ArtPrize 2015 field trip in collaboration with Cook Arts Center and UICA. During this three-part program, students identified new ways contemporary artists and community members collaborate to address and inform others about public issues, engaged in a collaborative creative project, and participated in a range of collaborative discussions.

In 2016, Amway commissioned ArtPrize Partner Schools to create over 200 works of art for the Amway World Headquarters. The commission included supplies for the project as well as an additional $2,000 for each participating ArtPrize Partner Schools to purchase art supplies for the year.
