$60,000 in Grants for Educators

Transportation Grants

Every year, ArtPrize offers transportation grants for up to $100 per school -- a total of $10,000 -- to help offset field trip costs and ensure that school groups are able to experience ArtPrize. In 2016, 97 schools throughout the state of Michigan received these transportation grants, including 81 public schools -- 28 right here in Grand Rapids. 

Education Days Grants

ArtPrize Education Days, presented by PNC Bank, drew more than 18,000 students from across the state of Michigan to the 2016 event, through programs supported by a series of grants totaling $44,000. Education Days partner programs that received grants in 2016 include:

ArtPrize Labs Grants

ArtPrize Labs provided a total of $6,000 in grants to program partners to help support their family events and activities throughout the 19-day event. ArtPrize Labs partner programs that received grants in 2016 include:
