$70,000 in Grants for Venues

Fellowship for Emerging Curators Grants

Launched in 2015, the ArtPrize Fellowship for Emerging Curators program offers emerging curators the opportunity to gain valuable experience by working alongside established curators at ArtPrize institutional venues. New this year, ArtPrize partnered with Independent Curators International to deepen this experience through a three-part Curatorial Mentorship program for the four selected Fellows.

The 2016 Curatorial Fellows included Brianna Baurichter, working with Ron Platt of the Grand Rapids Art Museum; Julia Victor, working with Michele Bosak of Kendall College of Art and Design; Alison Erazmus, working with Heather Duffy of the Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts; and Steffanie Rosalez, working with Paul Amenta of SiTE:LAB.

Steffanie Rosalez and her collaborators at 912 Grandville Avenue won the Installation Juried Award and split the Outstanding Venue Juried Award with SiTE:LAB.
