2014 was a defining year for ArtPrize. Now six years old we've been busy building a bedrock culture of radical experimentation, independent organization, inclusiveness and openness -- an authentic, welcoming celebration of art, culture, innovation and urbanism for everyone.
We're defining our commitment to artist development through programs like LINK SESSIONS, which provides advice, connection and opportunity to ArtPrize artists through one-on-one meetings with professionals; and through Artist Seed Grants, where artists are supported in making their ArtPrize vision a reality.
We're defining our commitment to education through Education Days, offering grants to schools and venues so that over 13,000 students from pre-school through 12th grade could visit ArtPrize 2014.
We're defining our commitment to diversity, accessibility and sustainability by offering free transportation for thousands, greater accessibility for those with mobility concerns, Spanish-language translation, ASL interpretation, waste-free zones and water share programs.
ArtPrize is like a holiday that can be celebrated in a million different ways. How do you define your way?
